Ramón Ivey sprung into his arts and entertainment career at the early age of nine. Years later, a wide rang of artistry has developed. This well seasoned visionary is a mastermind when it comes to creativity in many facets. From branding small and large companies, producing web and graphic design, to developing music artists, performing with main-stream music artists, and producing a number of creative visions for himself and his clients.
Ramon Ivey is centered on creating an experience in a positive lasting way. Forming brands as well as developing the visions of others is where Ramon thrives. He has gone as far as China to produce an event from scratch in eleven days, all while on a tour performing, producing live shows for major night clubs, and teaching dance classes all over China. The event was a huge success. "I use my creative intuition, partnered with the knowledge I have attained over the years to make the right decisions" says Ramon. He considers success his only option. “Success is only apparent to me when the feedback is undeniably positive. You know you've done well when guests are asking (“When is the next one?”) or saying ("Until next time!")
- Ramon Ivey
He has accomplished many works, but one he takes great pride in is “Dance 4 Haiti”. He produced the event in efforts to send aid to Haiti after the horrendous earthquake in 2010. He gathered his colleagues, the local dance community and the media together presenting a dance workshop, which consisted of 13 classes taught by some of San Diego's most Prestigious Choreographers. Over 100 attended, and the event was a hit.
His first career was actually as a dancer. Mr. Ivey has worked with multitudes of artists, creators, and professionals such as: American Idols Ashley Robles, Singer/Rapper Kevin Ray, Vocalist and Performer Abrina, and Philanthropist and Musician Miz Mandy to shorten the list.
Ramon has shared the stage with major recording artists: CeCe Winans, L.L. Cool J, Kirk Franklin, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Jeremiah, and The-Dream to name a few. He has also performed on the 2001 Emmy Awards while with a Gospel Music Group known as, "Adrian Ewings & the Steps of Praise", and he performed for the Christian Music Awards in 2009.
He has not had it easy growing up in a split family, with only his mother raising him and his youngest sister who lives with Autism. His family struggled to make ends meet, but it was those experiences that shaped Ramon's character. He decided to fight through the struggles, determined to beat the statistics, and define success for himself, and he did. He became the President of his junior class in high school. He was able to perform on many platforms because of being active in a Gospel Music Group. He developed himself to become a Music Artist, a Choreographer, a Digital Designer, a Stage Show Producer, a Song Writer, an Event Coordinator, and he went to college to study business and graphic design in which he successfully obtained a degree.
Mr. Ivey believes in hard work, and in always being a student in the sense of being willing to learn from anyone, and all experiences. Keeping that attitude helps him consistently grow as a Creative, a leader, and as a person overall. He takes pride working on his skills and developing himself, but he especially enjoys helping others build their brands and creative visions, seeing them through to fruition.
His slogan says it all:
